Man City Premier League 2024/25 fixtures in full (2024)

Manchester City will open their latest Premier League title defence against former assistant manager Enzo Maresca in a mouth-watering clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

City's 2024/25 fixture list has given them an opening run of clashes against Maresca's Chelsea followed by a first home game against newly-promoted Ipswich, who face Liverpool on the first weekend. City will end their campaign against Fulham at Craven Cottage, hoping to become the first team in English top flight history to win five titles in succession.

The forthcoming season could be Pep Guardiola's final one in charge, potentially making the final home clash with Bournemouth on the penultimate weekend his last as City manager at the Etihad. His current contract expires next summer, although he may remain in charge for the Club World Cup to take place in June and July in the USA.

City will face likely title rivals Arsenal in September in just the fifth game of the season at the Etihad, before a return fixture at the start of February at the Emirates. Liverpool threatened a three-horse title race until they dropped off at the end of the last season, and the Blues will face Arne Slot's side in November at Anfield before hosting them in February.

The two Manchester derbies with Manchester United will take place on December 14 at the Etihad and then April 5 at Old Trafford - the away match coming just eight matches before the end of the season and directly before a potential Champions League quarter-final first leg.

Over Christmas and New Year, City host Everton on Boxing Day before a trip to Leicester on December 29, with West Ham the visitors for the first game of 2025 on January 4.

City travel to promoted side Ipswich on January 18, and the Blues will go to Everton for their final Premier League trip to Goodison Park on April 19 before the Toffees are set to move into a brand new stadium at Bramley Moore Dock for the start of the 2025/26 campaign.
