Fontaine Shrine of Depths Locations - Genshin Impact Guide - IGN (2024)

Like all Genshin Impact regions, Fontaine hosts a bunch of mysterious little temples, called the Shrines of Depths. Every Shrine of Depths is sealed, but you can open them using a Fontaine Shrine of Depths Key. These keys are a reward for upgrading the Statues of the Seven in Fontaine.

All Fontaine Shrine of Depths Locations - South

As of Genshin Impact version 4.6, there are ten Shrine of Depths locations in Fontaine. We’ll go over each location in more detail below, but here’s an overview of where to find the first four (southern part of Fontaine):

Shrine of Depths Location 1 – Elton Trench

The first Fontaine Shrine of Depths location is situated between the Beryl and Belleau regions. It’s underwater, just south of the nearby Teleport Waypoint. If you start swimming from there, you’ll see the Shrine below you, in a slightly deeper part of the trench.

Shrine of Depths Location 2 – Beryl Region

The second Fontaine Shrine of Depths is on the Beryl region island, built against a mountain. The Shrine of Depths is on the north side. The easiest way to get there is by gliding down from the Teleport Waypoint in the northeast.

Shrine of Depths Location 3 – Court of Fontaine

This Shrine of Depths is just north of the Court of Fontaine. The fastest way to get there is to teleport to the Echoes of the Deep Tides Domain, then walk southeast until you see the Shrine. It’s next to some fruit trees.

Shrine of Depths Location 4 – Marcotte Station

The Shrine of Depths is on a grassy slope, overlooking the sea to the west. You can get there from the Teleport Waypoint at Marcotte Station, or swim towards the shore from one of the underwater Teleports.

All Fontaine Shrine of Depths Locations - North

There are two more Shrine of Depths locations in the northern part of Fontaine. Here's where to find them:

Shrine of Depths Location 5 – Central Laboratory Ruins

The Shrine of Depths is underwater. Swim down the gorge and you'll spot it.

Shrine of Depths Location 6 – New Fontaine Research Institute

It's located quite high up the mountains. The easiest way to reach this Fontaine Shrine of Depths is by gliding from the Teleport Waypoint above the floating Hydro cubes, but you can also use another nearby Teleport and simply walk up the mountain.

All Fontaine Shrine of Depths Locations - East

In Genshin Impact Version 4.2, two additional Fontaine Shrine of Depths locations were added. Both are found in Erinnyes Forest in the eastern part of Fontaine.

Shrine of Depths Location 7 – Weeping Willow of the Lake

It's on a slope next to the pond with the massive bright yellow willow tree. If you fast-travel to the Waypoint northeast of this location, you can spot the Shrine of Depths from there.

Shrine of Depths Location 8 – Loch Urania

This Shrine of Depths location is near the top of the mountain range northeast of Loch Urania. If you start from the Teleport Waypoint at the foot of the slope, look up towards the north and you'll see the Shrine of Depths in the distance. You simply need to walk up the slope to reach it.

All Fontaine Shrine of Depths Locations - Sea of Bygone Eras

In Genshin Impact version 4.6, two more Shrines of Depths appeared in Fontaine. Both are found in the Sea of Bygone Eras, an underwater realm unlocked during the Canticles of Harmony world quest series. The first of these quests, as well as the entrance to the Sea of Bygone Eras, are found on Petrichor island in the sea located south of Fontaine.

These are the Shrine of Depths locations in the Sea of Bygone Eras:

Shrine of Depths Location 9 – Sea of Bygone Eras West

Go to the nearby teleport waypoint and swim upwards. If you look towards the northeast, you'll see this Shrine of Depths on the nearby ledge.

Shrine of Depths Location 10 – Sea of Bygone Eras East

This Shrine of Depths is placed on the higher cliffs, not inside the lower cave. You can use the teleport waypoint northeast of here, then swim slightly upwards to the southwest. The Shrine of Depths will appear right in front of you, behind some large purple corals and blue seaweeds.
