The Homeland Defense is excellent for getting the 2MPC Achievement because it does no harm but dramatically enhances the Towers’ capabilities. There is no need for a Path 2 Monkey Village to be upgraded to Tier 5, even if the player doesn’t have the time or money.
3. MONKEYOPOLIS
- Price: $5,000 per Farm
- Path: 3
- Tier: 5
Since upgrading all Banana Farms would have cost a lot of money, and selling them separately would have yielded a lot of money back, Monkeyopolis’ sacrifice is enormous.
Not only can it significantly boost agricultural output and productivity, but it can fit up to 8-10 farmsteads into the range of a single community. Overclocking, it can expand its range to accommodate additional crops when upgrading to Monkeyopolis.
It’s still mighty even if only a few farms are sacrificed because most maps don’t have enough open space to accommodate 8+ Farms. Monkeyopolis, vital for generating revenue, requires a prior space investment. Because money rarely runs out after the initial farming, high-tier farms are rarely required on late-game runs.
Even though the Monkeyopolis Monkey Village Path in BTD6 consumes the player’s most important income source, it drops far more cash. It saves the player much room that numerous Banana Farms would otherwise take up.
