Over the years (totaling 18), I do not feel the vets here have been all that great. They lack empathy for the pet and the owner. Spanning 18 years and three dogs, I've never really been pleased with the care here. With my last pet, I took her here sparingly, only when I had to. We started seeing a holistic vet (BEST decision ever! I highly recommend). Or go to Bright's Lawrenceburg clinic and see Dr. Caitlin Lawrence - she's fabulous. Read Less

This is one of only two vet clinics I have ever taken my dogs to. The staff is friendly and helpful. The doctors are always great with my dog, who can be a bit difficult to keep still. They send text and email reminder for appointments and when your animal is due for vaccines. They see animals of all types. Read Less

Very knowledgeable staff and extremely patient with the animals. We have been to a couple of different vets over the past few years looking for that "ONE" that you just feel is the one that you know your pet is going to be in the best of hands, and this was definitely the place for us from almost the moment we called to schedule the first appointment and as soon as we walked in the front door we knew immediately that we would not have to look for another place and we had found the perfect place to care for our dog. And after they had finished with the exam and gave her the treatment she needed we were completely floored by the cost of the services which ended up being more than half of what we had expected to pay. So not only did our dog receive absolutely top quality treatment from the staff here, but it was done at a price that was extremely affordable for the average family which was nice to learn after we had already decided that we had found the right place. Hubbard is not only is very gifted when it comes to ferret health and diseases.....but he also loves them....and thats obvious....I operate a ferret santurary....Promise to take them in give them the love and attention they need....until the day the earn thier wings...any ferret owner knows vetting a ferret can be pricy....having 13 at present.....Dr. Hubbard makes my commitment to these carpet sharks doable and afforable....been going there since 1984....many dogs, cats , pups, miniature horses and goats....he has taken care of them all....and now ferrets run my life and they give you back 100% plus....and with Bright Vet Clinic having our back when needed.....we can continue caring for these babies and reaping the emotional benefits.....laughing 24/7 at these wee clowns.... Even though we have used them as our vet office, they would not answer my question about giving my 13 year old dog a baby aspirin because of mild pain, without making an appointment. They are all about making money. I even told her he is acting completely normal just a little sore getting up and down. I know baby aspirin is ok, I just wanted to make sure and know an amount. Unfortunately at the moment I don't have the extra money for a visit that is not necessary. If a nurse can tell me how much tylenol i can give my CHILD over the phone...a vet should be able to tell me what I can give my ANIMAL! They will never have our business or our recommendations again! I will never ever come here again! We have been there twice in two weeks with a very sick dog. Gave us a bunch of pills to give her and sent us on our way. Last night my dog was dying before my eyes. I called telling them I was bringing her there, which we live 5 minutes from there. They denied us. Told us they were closing in 20 mins and couldn't help her. Really? After already given you $500 you DENIED my dying dog. Told us to go to lawrenceburg vet, WHO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My pet(s) will never come back to such a heartless place! Read Less

They have always treated all of our family with complete dignity and respect regardless of what we present them with. Even in our saddest hours as we had animals put to rest because of old age they have us individualized attention and time that you don't see from other clinics. Our first time to the clinic was for a routine checkup, possible Kennel cough case for our newly rescued coon hound/beagle mix, Floyd. Caitlin Lawrence, DVM, was attentive, kind, compassionate and explained each and every detail in language we could understand. We are facing some difficult care for him, as he is more sick than we thought initially (pneumonia). But we are committed to his care, and knowing that our animal clinic is committed to his care as well makes this difficult situation more manageable. My dog had a potentially life threatening condition and I called to see if he could get in and they not only got him in but also performed life saving surgery on him the same day and I got to bring him home that night. This just does not happen with other vets. Dr Steve Hubbard is the best vet we have ever had. His staff is amazing .....my dogs do not dread the vet, they wag their tails when they see the staff. These people are wonderful and they truly do care. They want your pet to be happy and healthy and will do what ever they can do to help you. I cannot say enough about this group!!!! Read Less
